| Shortly before 12:30 this afternoon Station 53 with Tower 53 along with mutual aid partners were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street in Collegeville Borough for a reported Building Fire.
Notes from MCEDS advised that smoke was coming from a house near the Forno Antico, caller is stating that they are on walnut street and can see fire from the roof of the building.
Units arrived and located a large 2 story building with 4 apartments with fire from the roof.
Tower 53 with a crew of 5 arrived as the First Due Ladder and positioned on the "D" Side of the building due to wires and better access. The crew split with all deploying ground ladders, crew one went to the roof and crew 2 searched the building and assisted with opening ceiling and walls to expose fire.
Traffic 53 responded and assisted with Traffic Control.
Chief 53 was assigned as the Fire Attack Supervisor by Main Street Command.
The New Engine 53 was staffed at 53 A and assisted with a Fire Alarm at 222 E Main Street (1st Run) along with Chester Rescue 65.
Crew cleared the alarm was then deployed by Command to the Fire to assist with extinguishment.
Three Firefighters from various departments were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
