Dear Neighbors,

This week you should be receiving a mailer from the Lower Providence Fire Department, before you recycle it please consider reading it and taking note of its contents.

For 80 years, the Lower Providence Fire Department has proudly provided Fire, Rescue, and Emergency
Services to our community. Every call we answer, every neighbor we protect, and every life we touch is made possible
because of the partnership between our dedicated volunteers and the generous support of residents like you.

Thank you for your contributions in 2024, because of your partnership and generosity we achieved several important milestones.

We successfully:

• Outfitted four new firefighters with lifesaving gear.
• Completed critical station improvements that allow our members to remain on-site and ready around the clock.
• Placed our new 2025 Pierce Enforcer Engine in service, replacing a 23-year-old apparatus and ensuring reliable
response for years to come.

These successes reflect the power of community support. Your donations directly provide the equipment, training, and
facilities our volunteers rely on to keep Lower Providence safe.

As we look ahead, our needs remain significant. Our three largest expenses continue to be:

1. Firefighter equipment – protective gear that keeps our members safe.
2. Apparatus – engines, trucks, and rescue vehicles that get us to your door.
3. Building upkeep – ensuring our station is always ready to house the people and tools needed.

Our annual Fund Drive donation is the easiest and most effective way to help. By contributing, you are directly supporting
the volunteers who devote countless hours to protecting our community while gaining valuable skills in leadership,
teamwork, and public service.

Did you know in 2024 LPFD responded to 770 total calls for service? These calls included structure fires, vehicle fires, fire
alarms, accidents with injuries, rescues and EMS assist calls totaling 2234 hours in service.

Additionally, responders spent 3,024 hours of training at various fire academies, and our weekly drill nights.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. Your gift, no matter the size, strengthens the foundation of your
fire company and ensures we can continue to answer the call-day or night-for our neighbors. On behalf of our members,
thank you for standing with us. Together, we are:

“Neighbors Helping Neighbors—Stronger Together.”
