Shortly after 3pm Station 53 along with Squad 56 from Upper Merion Fire Department were dispatched to the rear of the Oaks Cinema for a vehicle fire. Upper Providence Firefighters were already committed to another incident assisting Limerick Fire Department on a reported structure fire, so Lower Providence and Upper Merion units were dispatched to cover.

Engine 53 responded quickly and arrived as the 1st Engine. They located a well involved RV Fire in the parking lot with no exposures. Crew deployed (2) 1 3/4" Attack lines to extinguish the fire.

Squad 56 arrived second with Squad 68 arriving 3rd after clearing the Limerick Incident, both units assisted with water supply and overhaul.

All units available without incident.
