A household thank you!
Thank you for coming to our aide last night. Thankful for the outcome of it not being a positive carbon monoxide level in our home and for finding out that we now need a new detector. You came quickly, were very professional and a big thank you for giving us a loaner for the night. After the incident last night, we also checked our fire extinguishers and found out that they also need to be replaced. In addition, we learned that it is now required to have smoke detectors in each bedroom. Thanks again for your service!

My grandfather Ira Robbins was LPFD first chief and he would be proud to know how the company had prospered over the years. Stay strong and safe.

Thank you for your continuing love for the community...When i was a little girl my Dad was with LPFD.....I have fond memories....He has since passed in 2009. I wish i could have one more time with him back when we used to come for the fair there. We ate all the steamed clams and corn we could get our hands on, yum. PLease continue to forge through the future with a burning passion for what you are doing and why you are doing it. Please know that even though I may not know you personally, I pray for you. With the warmest of all wishes and love, Becky.

Great looking website guys. My grandfather, Norris Wesler, was a former member of the company and my grandmother still lives in your first due on Summit. I owe him (and your department) for my early love of the fire department family. Stay safe guys. Mike Matula Orchard Beach VFD - Anne Arundel County, MD www.orchardbeachvfd.com

Last night, members of the department’s Apparatus Committee met with Glick Fire Apparatus salesman Matt Wiedenhaefer for our celebratory dinner, after our official signing of paperwork to purchase a 2024 Pierce Enforcer Pumper which will become the new Engine 53. The new Engine 53 will be delivered in late 2024. The committee spent countless hours meeting with several different apparatus manufacturers who all had competitive bids and unique builds which made our decisions harder. Ultimately, the department decided to go with Pierce for our latest investment in serving our community with pride and the most up-to-date technology and equipment. This new Engine 53 will serve our community and the surrounding areas for many years to come. ... See MoreSee Less
