Last night, members of the department’s Apparatus Committee met with Glick Fire Apparatus salesman Matt Wiedenhaefer for our celebratory dinner, after our official signing of paperwork to purchase a 2024 Pierce Enforcer Pumper which will become the new Engine 53. The new Engine 53 will be delivered in late 2024. The committee spent countless hours meeting with several different apparatus manufacturers who all had competitive bids and unique builds which made our decisions harder. Ultimately, the department decided to go with Pierce for our latest investment in serving our community with pride and the most up-to-date technology and equipment.
