Welcome to the Lower Providence Fire Department

The Lower Providence Fire Department is dedicated to safeguarding the lives, property, and well-being of the residents, businesses, and visitors of Lower Providence Township. With two fire stations and nine state-of-the-art apparatus, our department stands ready to respond to emergencies and ensure the highest level of fire protection and emergency services.

In addition to serving our local community, we provide critical mutual aid to neighboring municipalities, including Collegeville, Trappe, and Norristown Boroughs, as well as Upper Providence, Upper Merion, West Norriton, Worcester, East Norriton, Skippack, and Limerick Townships. This collaboration strengthens our region’s ability to respond to large-scale incidents and enhances overall public safety.

We are proud to be a 100% volunteer organization, relying on the support and dedication of our community. Our Annual Firemen’s Fair, Fund Drive, and other fundraising efforts play a crucial role in helping us maintain our services and equipment, ensuring that we remain prepared to protect and serve at all times.

Thank you for supporting the Lower Providence Fire Department as we continue our mission of service and safety.
